No Mas was founded by Brooklyn designer and sports writer Chris Isenberg. Born and bred in Greenwich Village in New York City, he spent his childhood obsessed with sports, fixating on the New York Yankees.

After Isenberg graduated with a masterâ??s degree in English literature from Oxford University, he moved back to New York and began writing for various publications. He also designs boxing posters and coaches Little League baseball in addition to running his cult apparel line, No Mas. His most recent collection, Fall Classic, features humorous tees riffing on the cultural insensitivities
of sports team logos for the Redskins, Indians and Braves, as well as customized jerseys celebrating some of the sports worldâ??s fallen heroes, such as Pete Rose and Darryl Strawberry.
