Cut Copy was originally a solo project for Dan Whitford to exercise his love of sampling and instrumental hip-hop. That was before he took a turn for the dance floor and began to embrace elements of electro, house and most unexpectedly, â??70s-era MOR rock. Shortly thereafter, Dan transformed Cut Copy into a full, live band.
