Space 1026 is an artist collective at the forefront of Philadelphiaâ??s emergent new arts community. Founded by a number of graduates of the Rhode Island School of Design, Space 1026 is a warehouse space that has been converted to house a popular gallery, a number of artist studios and a screen-printing lab. As much a cultural movement as it is a physical space, 1026 is a crucible for individual, collaborative and most importantly, community-wide creativity.
