In a series of much-blogged about adverts created by director Spike Jonze and Y&R from Chicago, a group of earnest, talking animals audition for Miller beer. It's a subtle jab at Budweiser, who've used all manner of creatures, from Clydesdale horses to bull frogs in their advertising over the years.
What nobody seems to have noticed is that in form, if not substance or overall style, THESE are reminiscent of those old ads for Cadbury's Cream Eggs that ran every Easter during the afternoon cartoons of my childhood. It's a good thing you need to show proof of age to view the long-form spots online
