UK designer/animator/director Knife Party created this brilliant and powerful animation blending some fantastic typography, neo-constructivist aesthetics, and an anti-war polemic by Barry McNamara back in 2004, when it won awards for best animation at both the Brooklyn International Film Festival and Portabello Film Festival.

It's well worth taking a second look at Knife-Party's work this week as the New Yorker has published a shocking investigative report on US war planning for Iran that is sure to keep the conflicts in the Middle East at the top of the international agenda as we head full tilt into the midterm election season this summer.
